According to KwaZulu-Natal's local council executive, Joma Koo, the new home for their house will be open to visitors, with private parties open to those entering.
The project will offer access to the gardens, the house's natural amphitheater, and the pool, with seating for up to 30 people. It's already open to the public in the neighborhood of Wanea, because it's a residential community, not just for residents in the area, Joma Koo said.
"It's an option for the first time that everyone can live in."
Koo said he's happy with the result: He and his family have been able to grow eight additional trees, and now he's looking forward to putting back two more in the area.
"It is our first house in my village," he said. "It was my dream to grow trees for a large family living together."
