Orchids need ample water but should be allowed to dry out some between waterings. One way to check for watering is by poking your finger about an inch (2.5 cm.) into the growing media. If it’s dry, give it some water; otherwise, let it be. Indoor orchid plants also need adequate humidity, about fifty to seventy percent.

I love the look the plant has and like to use the foliage to enhance its own appearance. The flower does turn yellow and its stalks light yellow, so all is well. My kids have an easy time getting to work on the foliage in their garden so they have a lot of options for what to do when a beautiful garden grows. My kids love to brush and apply a few layers of mulch if needed. My best compliments on the plant for being so large.
