How to graft stem leaves and other non-stippling leaves on plants

All plants should be trimmed and cut well. Grafting of flowering/leaving leaves is a very efficient process using some techniques.

Graft: Trim your leaves off the skin, to the left edge of your thumb, by cutting one or two through the tissue. Take the scissors away from the top of the wound area and cut through the tissue. Put one end of the cut tissue through the wound area and cut to the center of the cut wound. (A good first cut, after the blood has drained, is necessary for the blood and other blood components to form part of the wound.) Place the tissue below the skin for the transplant. Carefully scrape the skin with a razor blade and apply it to the wound area. Repeat this step several times, working to the bottom of the wound area to prevent bleeding.

Leaves are sometimes cut as needed for transplantation.

Cutting a split leaf or a similar trim will also help with transplantation.

You may want to keep them at the same height for transplanting (1 inch) (above the wound).

Note: Triming can help prevent the tissue from forming an uneven
