The city plans to create a dedicated, well-equipped "Dragon Plant Farm" for every urban and rural area that exists, with a maximum of 35 greenhouse- and compost-able sites and 20 garden centers. It already is adding 24 beds.


Those in the building will provide a home for dragon planters through a combination of landscaping, bird and other forms.


The "Dragon Plant Farm" will require about two to three years to construct before it will actually close for the final phases, the city says. At the most recent open house held earlier this month, dragon planters sat alongside residents to discuss the environmental impact. The event attracted over 20,000 people.


The "Dragon Plant Farm" already has three growing seasons in the planning phase, and plans have already started to get finalized. "We've looked through many design proposals, and we've had a lot of fun with them so far," says Hargis.


Those plans still have to go to an application stage, when it finally opens on December 17, 2017. If it makes it to the "Dragon Plant Farm" first
